About ANTS
The Advanced Network Technologies and Services (ANTS) Lab is aimed to conduct R&D on interesting network technologies and services. Currently, there are two major teams working on several topics.
Network technologies Team
The goal of this team is to design, develop, and evaluate advanced network systems and protocols.
Current research areas:
- WLAN/WiMAX as Access Network
- Network Security and Long-term Network Forensics
Internet Data and Knowledge Management Team
The goal of this team is to discover and manage the knowledge from Internet documents and user-generated data, and apply the discovered knowledge in the advanced services.

Information Market Team
The goal of this team is to discover and manage the knowledge from information market and apply the discovered knowledge in the advanced services.

- Information extraction/retrieval to information market.
- Model the strategy of agent in the information market.
- Design the trading mechanism of information market.
